sleep tight....literally.

On a wing and a prayer, we started looking for accommodations in Washington D.C, around the first of October. Most all hotels within a 20 mile radius of the city were full and we knew we would risk eating a deposit if our candidate didn't win. But we had hope, after all, that Obama would pull through and we wanted to be in the heart of it all. After hours of research and much collaboration with Dana, Janie and Kelly, I found town homes within 10 blocks of eachother being rented out by locals.

Here they are:

The Coach House

1860's Townhouse
no outside photo is available, so here's the next best thing: the kitchen!

These places were excellent finds and we're so lucky to have acutal homes in nearby neighborhoods where we are walking distance from eachother and a short subway ride to anywhere! Much better than piling into hotel rooms, that's for sure!
