Each night we have eaten dinner together at the larger house followed by a "sit-down" afterwards to go around the room and everyone shares what was their favorite part of the day. Both nights we have shared over 2 hours with eachother, captivated with our stories, getting to know each other just a bit better and realizing in the moment how grateful we are to have this experience and proud to have it with eachother.
This has turned into the favorite part of the day for many of us.
Hearing the different perspectives and favorites from such a range of ages has been truly incredible & inspiring. Everything from an exhibit or single picture that spoke volumes or a story about a stranger one met on the street, to the overwhelming spirit and generosity from every single person in this city for this historical event.
