wouldn't they be proud?

Grandmother Heard & Heard Sisters

Back Row {left to right}: Clara, Maude, Pallie

Front Row: Jimmie Mae, Elma

Front & Center: Grandmother Rebecca

They are our mothers, grandmothers, great grandmothers, aunts, great aunts and in-laws.
.
They are the strong women that shaped our lives...and the lives of our children and our grandchildren.
.
They lived to see some of us grow into strong women.
.
They unfortunately never got to meet many of us.
.
They are the six women who were female pioneers in our family.
.
They are the epitome of the strength of the female bond that lives through this generation of "Heard Girls"...all eighteen of us.
